There was a fantastic turn out for the End Polio Now train ride. Even Evan Burrel's cat joined in in America. Evan did say he hadn't realised how hard it would be to get a cat into a t'shirt. The celebration at Shoe bar, Yagan Square looked like a fun way to finish the day.

Laurie Glossop's very informative talk on the Landgate and Meteoblue websites.
Meteoblue is a meteorological service created at the University of Basel, Switzerland. In 2006, Meteoblue was then founded as a spin-off company in order to serve customers especially in the area of agriculture as well as solar and wind power. It combines over 40 weather models and uses proprietary artificial intelligence to generate weather forecasts. A very topical subject due to the BOM website.
Laurie also gave a fantastic tour of the Landgate website and showed us some of the information that can be accessed. Laurie showed us the arial images around his home going back to when they moved in and up to today. He showed us pages where you can see the price range of houses in every suburb in Perth and where to go to get current valuations, certificates of title and too many other things to remember. Fascinating.
