It's been a busy week with the club's AGM on Tuesday and the Foodbank Collection at Floreat Forum on Saturday (read more below).
A reminder that we have the movie night about Scaling Up the Black Cockatoo Forest and the Planting of Mini Forests on Monday 24th November. Our club is looking forward to becoming involved in planting mini forests around the metro area, increasing bird habitat and our tree canopy. It's not too late to register (details below).
Members and friends, time is running out to purchase tickets in the Thermomix raffle so, either buy your own tickets and/or encourage your friends too. It's a great prize and the funds are being donated to a great cause. Read more below about the construction of the homes the funds are going towards. It's interesting reading.

What an amazing day we had at Floreat Forum on Saturday collecting for Foodbank!
We may have gone home with tired feet and strained vocal cords however it was rewarding knowing we’ve made a real difference.
Our local shoppers were incredibly generous. In addition to a huge amount of donated food, we received $215 in cash, along with several credit card donations made directly to Foodbank.
A big well done to everyone involved—David, Harry and Marcus for organising, and all members who volunteered throughout the day.
We’re still waiting on the final tally of food collected. David will update us once he’s delivered everything… and judging by the sight of him driving off with an overloaded trailer and a very full car, it’s safe to say the community responded brilliantly.
It was a fantastic day of camaraderie, teamwork, and chatting with shoppers—another great opportunity to share the spirit and impact of Rotary.
